Here are some tips for ensuring your child's achievement in this class:
1. Establish a daily routine.
- Attempt to have dinner together, make time for study time, and be strict with bed times.
2. Monitor out-of-school activities.
- Restrict TV time, arrange for supervision.
3. Be the role model.
- Your child looks up to you to do the right thing. If you lead by example they will surely follow.
4. Read together.
- Every day try and hear your child read something. It will make them stronger readers, but also bonding time.
5. Set high expectations.
- The self-fulfilling prophecy is real and if you expect your child to fail, they probably will!
